How does one keep going in the midst of personal hardship and loss? Daisy was a bright light and saw the ‘glass half full’. Most never knew both of her parents passed before she was six years old. Daisy was well loved and cared for by her extended family and a host of friends. No doubt angels surrounded her throughout life. Even after the death of her husband and two sons, she perservered.
The joy of the Lord was her greatest strength! It was an honour to work together on a new project after our mutual friend left us all too soon. She provided a unique way to bring hope and inspiration to others in his memory. Her warm and welcoming smile will be long remembered.
This is just one example of what DROVE Miss Daisy! She was forever looking outward towards others to lend a helping hand or gentle word of encouragement. This First Lady of Southern Cooking, a National TREASURE, an icon once in our midst, “Miss Daisy” will be greatly missed!

As an admirer of his work, she was not only a neighbor but a friend. Each “Radnor” cup is beautifully wrapped in ribbon and contains bird seed which is symbolic of the countless spiritual seeds of prayers and gifts of love which Jack sowed during his life on earth that are now being watered by others and bearing much fruit!
“Friends, In 2012 we lost a great artist and friend to the area, Mr. Jack Weil. Jack’s eye for art and ear for listening gave the community a unique gift. To help celebrate Jack’s life and work, we’re selling a few items that commemorate his work. I think these would make exceptional Father’s Day gifts. The coffee cups are truly a piece of art. Come see us at Miss Daisy’s Kitchen and have a cup of coffee and take home a mug for Father’s Day.” – Daisy King
